Review of a Cala Pro Callus Remover

Today I am reviewing a Cala Pro Callus Remover. I finally decided to try one after my most recent pedicure. They use one each time and it gets my feet so soft. I purchased this one from Marshalls here locally for $6.99. I feel like it's a great deal to keep my feet smooth year round. I was not paid to write this review. I just wanted to share my experience with others.

It's a stainless steel micro-file that says it leaves feet soft & silky smooth.

The handle is large and easy to hold on to, even with wet hands. I put liquid soap over the file and began moving it across my heels and on the sides of my feet. It's very easy to use and I didn't feel like I was going to cut myself.

The file is not sharp but works well around the sides of your feet and toes. It's easy to clean and has a place to hang it up when it's not in use.

It has a plastic cover over the back to catch dead skin. It's removable and it's easy to clean.

I am highly satisfied with this product. I would suggest this to my friends and family. I found a similar one for sale at Amazon. I highly suggest you try it if you want smooth feet. It works wonders on dry Summer feet. It's a great way to keep your feet smooth in between pedicures. It removes dry skin quick and easily. Goodbye PF Changs, I will miss you.

As we enter into a new year, most companies are raising prices and lowering portions. I didn't see this coming from my local PF Changs. They usually have large "family sized" portions. If you come with a large group you can always try something new by sharing a meal. That's just not possible now. The meal portions have been cut by more than a quarter. The alcoholic drinks are much smaller and the appetizer was only big enough for two when you can usually share with four people. We came in for dinner around 7:30pm. There was a small wait. Once we were at our table we waiting a long time for drinks and our appetizer. It seems that the staff has been cut as well. The food tasted great but I did notice more green onions then meat added to the Mongolian Beef to make it look larger. For dessert we ordered the banana spring rolls and they were just sad. I counted 5 strawberry slices, 3 blueberries and 1 raspberry along with one scoop of ice cream. We asked to share the dish with the table because some of our guests have never tried them. We were not given any plates to do so. I guess they are also saving on dish washing as well. Overall I don't think the change will be profitable for them. The staff is stressed, the portions are small and the prices are higher. This is nothing like the PF Changs I'm use to. I hope they can figure out a comfortable medium soon. This was one of my favorite places to dine out at. I will have to say goodbye for now and I will miss you. If you decide to change your ways, perhaps I will give you another chance.

*Review of Foo Fighters Sonic Highways Album

Album cover

I pre-ordered the new Foo Fighters album "Sonic Highways" because I'm a huge fan of their music. I've watched every episode of "Sonic Highways" on HBO. I love learning about the history of songs and how they were written. I decided to pre-order the album and have it shipped to my house. It was delivered today, right on schedule! I opened the package, added it right to my iTunes collection and hit play. only a few seconds into Track 1. Something from nothing and I was hooked. I decided to listen to the whole album and review it. It has 8 tracks totaling 43 minutes. I love most of the songs but not a huge fan of "I am a river". I'm sure after I listen to it more I will enjoy it. It's the only song on the album that I think sounds "popish" I'm not saying it's bad, it just sounds more main stream and not alternative. My favorite is Track 1. Something from nothing. I feel like a lot of people will relate to this song. Of course Track 2. The feast and the famine is typical Foo Fighters and quickly reminds us why we love them so. Then there is Track 3. Congregation Wow they blew me away with this one. I could listen to this track over and over. I would say that this album is one of their top three. Listening to Foo Fighters will never get old. Below is the track list and then my favorites in order from favorite to least favorite. I highly suggest you go out and buy this album. You don't want to be the only person on the planet without one. Thank you Foo Fighters for raising the bar for all the other bands. You guys kick ass!
