Chocolate no-bake oatmeal cookies = YUM

This is one of my families favorite treats for the holidays. Make sure you have milk in the fridge because you can't eat these without it. They are very rich. Oh and don't tell my Mom that I just made these. They are her favorite :) 

Chocolate No Bake Cookies

2 - cups granulated sugar

3 - tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 - cup butter

1/2 - cup evaporated milk

1/2 - teaspoon salt

3 - cups quick or old fashioned oats

1/2 - cup creamy peanut butter

1 - teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium sized saucepan over medium high heat add butter, sugar, cocoa powder, milk and salt. 

Stir until butter is melted and ingredients are

incorporated. 

Bring to a boil, and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn.

Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until completely melted. 

Add vanilla and oatmeal while mixing well. 

Drop by tablespoon full onto wax paper. 

Let cool completely on waxed paper. 

Remove the cookies once they have set up. They are delicious so make plenty because the go fast. At least they do in my house.

Best stain remover only costs $1.00

I currently do about 10-12 loads of laundry every week. I'm always looking for quick, easy and of course cheap ways to do things and that doesn't stop when it comes to stain removal. 

I've tried every product on the market and never found anything that works as well as this. I found this great product called Soilove at my local dollar store. I decided to try it since it came with very little risk at the price of $1.00. To my surprise, it worked and it worked really well. I was able to easily remove everything from dirt to blood. I just squirted a small amount over the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, I just tossed it in with the rest of my laundry. Each stain was gone after only one wash. I always check the item to make sure it's gone before I dry it.  

The bottle says that it's effective on the following:

Blood

Grease

Ink

Beverages

Food

Grass

 Perspiration

I keep two bottles on hand and only use Soilove for stain removal. I haven't purchased any other stain remover in years. This product is made in the USA and only costs $1.00 for a 16 fluid ounce bottle.

Facebook madness, Please make it stop!

I'm not quite sure why we torture ourselves so much over Facebook and Twitter posts. Why do we have to be so hard on ourselves? 

We have all seen the torture posts. Here are some of my favorites.........

1. My husband just bought me a new car, insert picture of custom license plate here "*****" 

You don't have to tell us all about your new car. I'm still driving the minivan full of kids around but good for you!

2. I can't seem to gain weight, any ideas? 

Really, do you think your "friends" are going to  feel bad for you?  NOPE! Eat a fricken cheeseburger. I mean really, most of us are struggling to lose weight so SHUT UP about your "struggle" to gain! 

3. The pictures of your fancy food from the fancy restaurant. 

Thank you for reminding me that I haven't eaten out in..............well................forever. 

It's just plain crazyness and we seem to fall for it every time. Don't compare yourself to others. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. It's usually just astro turf. Give yourself a break and enjoy the wonderful life you are living right now.
