Why do they call it gay rights?
I am a very opinionated person, some of you may say I’m a
bitch and I’m okay with that. I’m disgusted at some of your post and comments
lately about same sex marriage. I'm having a hard time understanding why people
are calling this “Gay Rights”. I mean we are all human so it’s actually “Human
Rights”. I don’t understand why so many people are against two people who love each
other wanting to be married. Plenty of people who can’t stand each other are
currently married and we don’t care about that.
Most of you are parents and you’re
obviously teaching your children bigotry. I have to ask you………… What will you
do when your child comes home to tell you that they are gay? Will they be able to tell you? No they won’t
because you’re completely narrow minded. Remember that everyone deserves equal
rights.
I just wanted to say that I support LOVE all the way
everyday. For those of you who have a problem with that please do me a favor
and “Unfriend” me!

Ultimate Minivan for Moms
I couldn't believe this when I first read it. This minivan
actually comes with a vacuum. That’s right Moms, now we have a quick way to pick up
those spilled Cheerios. You can check out the new Honda Odyssey by clicking on
the link below. Tell us what you think about the new features for 2014.

Bomb scare
I ran up to my local Wal-Mart for a few things this
afternoon. Right as I walked up to the register, lights started flashing all
around and the store employees asked everyone to leave the building. It was
absolute chaos. People were pushing and yelling like you see in the movies.
Once we were all outside, they explained that we were evacuated because of a
bomb scare. The employees were told to go to The Fox and The Hound restaurant across
the street and the parking lot was emptied. As we drove off we saw the sheriff
department on scene with the bomb sniffing dogs. Time to watch the local news
to see what really happened.

Came home to a flood.
In January 2013 I came home to fifteen feet wide of water
flowing out of my garage. As I ran into the house I was shocked to see several
inches of water on the floor of my kitchen and laundry room. The water was pouring
all over my new cabinets, soaking the walls, ceiling and flowing into the
garage. I was devastated to see my newly remodeled home in such disarray. I
called the insurance company and they suggested I call one of their “preferred”
restoration companies. I didn’t even think that I could choose who came to my
house since they were paying for it so I setup the appointment which wasn’t
until the next evening. I couldn’t believe I had to wait a whole day to start
the cleanup. About an hour later I called a friend who explained to me that I
could choose who I want to come and do the cleanup. He gave me the number of
Dustin at Advanced Drying. I called Dustin and he said he could be over to assess
the damage that evening. Less than a few hours later he showed up and got
started. He was very detailed oriented. He went over everything with us so we
would understand what the cleanup would entail. He assured us that the cleanup part
would be painless. The next day his crew showed up ready to demo. They put down
plastic covers to protect the floors and cleaned up every inch of garbage and
dust. They were very courteous and kind to my husband and I, our children, and our
animals. They took care of everything and made it very comfortable for us.
I
hope I never have another flood but if I did, I would definitely use Advanced
Drying again. They are the best in the business and customer service is their
number one priority. You can’t go wrong with Dustin and his crew.
Thank you for making a terrible experience bearable for our
family.

Mondays
Ah Mondays! After what seems like a short weekend we come
upon Monday. I feel like it kinda gets a bad rap. After all, who likes Mondays?
Not a lot of people do. Actually as a Mom, I know Monday means the kids are off
to school and I can clean the house without cleaning the same room twice. It
also means the start of my work week. I just wish the weekend could be longer.

Bonuses for the rich
I just read an article about bonuses for the already extreme wealthy. I actually can’t believe companies can get away with this. Most upper management at financial firms are somehow related. They have been “sharing” the wealth via huge bonuses for decades. As the years have gone on we as a nation have succumbed to greed in the worst way. How about splitting the huge bonuses amongst the “little” people who do most of the work in the first place. Let’s start there and see what they do with the money. I bet it will be money well spent. As a Mom, I would spend the money wisely.
