Just remember that you should never have to pay to search for unclaimed money. Once you are at the website, you simply enter your name and the state you want to search and click search. Make sure you search every state you have lived in to make sure you don't miss anything. A long list of people matching your name and state will appear and you can narrow it down from there. It will show an address or description of where the money is from to help you decide if it’s yours. It also shows how much money is available. If you are lucky enough to find some unclaimed money you will have to prove ownership to collect it.
